AWOL Movie - Love and Honor Movie

Update - The film has been retitled Love And Honor.


AWOL (military lingo which stands for Absent Without Leave) is an upcoming romantic drama movie set during the Vietnam war: it will explore the anti-war movement of that time. The film will mark the directorial debut of Danny Mooney. It is based on a script by Jim Burnstein and Garrett K. Schiff. The cast includes Austin Stowell, Liam Hemsworth, and Aime Teergarden. Also heard that Teresa Palmer is in negotiation for a role.

Plot:
"Set during the Vietnam war, the story revolves around a soldier (Austin Stowell) who goes AWOL with his best friend (Liam Hemsworth) after his girlfriend (Aimee Teegarden) leaves him."

Filming of AWOL should start this Summer so we may hope for a release in the second half of 2012.
